Why 2026 is Special:
The Year of the Horse

In Tibetan tradition, the Horse Year (which occurs every 12 years) is considered extremely auspicious for performing the Kora (pilgrimage) around Mount Kailash.

  • Merit is Multiplied: Completing one Kora during the Horse Year is said to be equal to 12 Koras in a normal year.
  • Spiritual Purification: It is believed to cleanse negative karma and bring immense blessings.
  • Once in a Decade Opportunity: The last one was in 2014. If you miss this, you wait until 2038.

This is a rare alignment of time and energy.
