Nothing that happens in your life is random or accidental. You may believe that it is, and you may share that belief with others. But you cannot make it so.
“God does not play dice with the universe.”
Everything that is happening to you now has its cause in what you have done, said, thought, or decided.
And even more fundamentally, in the places where you have placed your attention.
What you pay attention to becomes real to you. Based on that, you act. And those actions (or lack of action) bring the consequences you now see.
We Do Not See Where We Place Our Attention
On many occasions, this process happens unconsciously. We do not SEE where we place our ATTENTION. We act MECHANICALLY without recognizing the true driving force/intention behind it. And then we confront CONSEQUENCES that we do not know how to explain because we have lost track of our WILL.
And this, in itself, is not bad. Because LIFE is a mystery!!! And not knowing why things happen is part of the ADVENTURE! It is the beginning of questioning, of inquiry, of the sacred INVESTIGATION of being.
Instead of Asking, We Blame
What happens is that instead of asking ourselves…
“Wow, how have I brought this situation into my life?? What have I done, or what have I failed to do??”
What we do is blame the weather, life, our partner, bad luck, or ourselves. Which, ultimately, is the same thing: an attempt to avoid responsibility for what happens in our lives. By condemning what surrounds us, we only drain our energy and sink even deeper into ignorance!!
The Justice Card Invites You to Stop and Contemplate
First, what is happening in your life. Without judgment, without evaluating. Simply what is happening.
Second, to make a sincere effort to connect what is happening with how you are living your life.
Third, if you cannot find that connection, do not just let it go. Ask questions, seek advice from someone, seek knowledge or guidance. And be patient and persistent.
Do not settle for mathematical or mechanical formulas that promise you healing, freedom, happiness, or health. They DO NOT EXIST!! There is no advice or lesson that applies to every situation or every person.
Only your consciousness awakening to the truth that is right in front of your nose, in the here and now, will guide you. YOUR TRUTH. Without beliefs disconnected from your real experience. Without philosophy. Without theoretical narratives.
What your heart feels, what your eyes see, what tightens in your gut, what resonates in your mind.
Questions to Contemplate This Week
What is happening in my life right now?
Can I connect what is happening with how I am living my life?
If I cannot connect those dots… Where or how could I find that understanding? Can I turn to someone? Do I know a place of power and understanding where I can empower my search?
