Subject: What you truly want, and what you learned to want. Hi, I rarely forward things like this, but this one felt like you. Kyrgyzstan Pilgrimage 2027 — fifteen days through Kyrgyzstan, from Bishkek to Osh, Arslanbob, Sary Chelek and Kyrgyz Ata: mountains, sacred lakes, walnut forests, horses, fire, yurts and the quiet center of the tunduk. 1–15 June 2027. Early bird €3,300, reserve with a €900 deposit. [your link] If it’s not for you, ignore this. If it is, you’ll know. Warmly, [your name]
Story to tell
If you want your own words, here are three true things about this pilgrimage:
1. The journey follows two forces of Kyrgyz tradition. Tengri is the sky: higher truth, sacred direction, the inner north that reminds you where you want to go. Umay is the force of life: body, nature, vitality, resilience and the fire that helps new life grow. Tengri shows the direction. Umay gives the strength to walk toward it.
2. Nomadic life holds two poles, and you will live both. The road is movement, effort, direction, discipline — long drives, hikes, horseback rides through the walnut forests of Arslanbob, the Holy Rock pilgrimage, teachings and ceremonies. The yurt is rest, warmth, food, relationship, community and celebration. In the center of the yurt is the tunduk, the round opening to the sky: a simple image for learning to move through life without losing your centre.
3. This is a real journey, not a luxury holiday and not a passive retreat. Fifteen days and fourteen nights from Bishkek through Osh, Arslanbob, Sary Chelek and Kyrgyz Ata: city hotels, local guesthouses, tents under the stars and yurts — with a maximum of fifteen participants, local Kyrgyz guides, and one online preparation session before we leave.
