A real adventure

This journey is for you if…

  • You want more than a normal holiday.
  • You are ready to step away from your routine and see your life from a new place.
  • You enjoy nature, walking, culture, and shared experiences.
  • You can accept that comfort will change as the journey moves from cities into remote places.
  • You are curious about spiritual practice but want to stay grounded and real.
  • You are willing to meet the unknown with an open mind.

You do not need to be an experienced traveler or a spiritual expert. You need curiosity, basic physical readiness, and the willingness to take part.

Not a tour you watch from a bus

You walk it. You feel it. You live it.

Peru changes slowly as you move through it.

You adjust to the altitude. You walk through deep valleys. You enter ancient places with time to breathe and look. You share meals, long drives, tired moments, laughter, and silence with the group.

By the time you reach the Amazon, you have had enough space to see what really matters to you.

This is what makes it a pilgrimage: every place asks something real from you.

How the journey works

Three ways the journey works with you

1

Move

Long paths, altitude, and changing weather bring you into your body. You take one step at a time instead of trying to control the whole road.

You leave more grounded and more confident.

2

Meet

You meet the group, local guides, Q’eros hosts, mountain life, and ways of living that are different from your own.

You leave with a wider view and a stronger sense of connection.

3

Listen

Ancient places, quiet mornings, ceremony, and time away from daily noise create room to hear yourself again.

You leave clearer about what deserves your energy.

The Andes

Cusco, Choquequirao, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu bring beauty, effort, and history together.

Ancient Places

You do not rush through the postcard. You have time to walk, look, breathe, and be present.

The Amazon

Green, humid, remote, and far from city noise. A place for ceremony, rest, and integration.

A glimpse of the journey

This is what the journey really looks like

Real mountains. Real weather. Real people. Shared meals. Long roads. Big views. Quiet moments.

The full route

Your journey, day by day

The exact timing can shift with weather, transport, and local conditions. This is the planned 21-day flow.

Day 1 | Tuesday, April 20 – Arrive in Lima

Arrive on your international flight and meet the local representative at Lima airport. Transfer to your hotel in Miraflores. Settle in, rest, and explore the nearby parks, cafes, restaurants, and oceanfront if your arrival time allows.

Day 2 | Wednesday, April 21 – Fly to Cusco

Return to Lima airport for the one-hour flight to Cusco. Transfer to the city-center hotel, meet the trekking guide, receive the equipment briefing, and prepare the duffel bags and walking poles for the mountain route.

Day 3 | Thursday, April 22 – Cusco and acclimatization

A free day to adjust to the altitude and discover Cusco at your own pace. Visit the main square, Koricancha, San Blas, San Pedro Market, museums, cafes, and the old streets of the Inca capital.

Day 4 | Friday, April 23 – Cusco to Chiquisca

Drive through Cachora to the trailhead at Capiliyoc. Begin with a three-hour downhill trek into the Apurimac canyon, passing wide mountain and glacier views before reaching Chiquisca for dinner and the first night on the route.

Day 5 | Saturday, April 24 – Chiquisca to Marampata

Descend to the bridge at Playa Rosalina, the lowest point of the trek, then begin the long climb through Santa Rosa toward Marampata. Expect five to six hours of trekking, steep paths, regular rest stops, and panoramic canyon views.

Day 6 | Sunday, April 25 – Choquequirao

Walk from Marampata to the Choquequirao archaeological site. Explore the main sectors with a local guide, take a picnic lunch among the ruins, and choose whether to descend to the steep llama terraces before returning to Marampata.

Day 7 | Monday, April 26 – Return through the canyon

An early start for the longest trekking day. Descend to the Apurimac River, rest at Chiquisca, and climb back toward Capiliyoc. The full route can reach 20 kilometers and eight hours of walking.

Day 8 | Tuesday, April 27 – Sacred Valley

Leave Capiliyoc by road and travel toward the Sacred Valley. Stop along the way as needed, recover from the trek, share an included dinner, and stay overnight in Ollantaytambo.

Day 9 | Wednesday, April 28 – Machu Picchu

Take the train to Aguas Calientes and the shuttle bus to Machu Picchu. Join a guided visit of the main citadel, with an optional Huayna Picchu climb if arranged separately. Return by train and continue by road to Pisac.

Day 10 | Thursday, April 29 – Free day in Pisac

Rest after the trek and explore Pisac. Optional choices may include a local hike, horse riding, the ruins above town, the market, or simply a quiet day before traveling to the Q’eros community.

Day 11 | Friday, April 30 – Journey to the Q’eros village

Travel from Pisac through Paucartambo and continue on mountain roads to Colpa Kuchu. Meet Don Alipio and his family, share lunch, learn about daily life, and join the Pachamama ceremony prepared for the group. Dinner and overnight are close to the village.

Day 12 | Saturday, May 1 – Sacred mountain ceremony

Walk with the Q’eros guide for a blessing connected to the Sacred Mountain, or Apu. Return for lunch, say goodbye to the family, and drive back to Cusco for an evening arrival and hotel rest.

Day 13 | Sunday, May 2 – Fly to Pucallpa

Fly from Cusco to Lima and connect onward to Pucallpa. Transfer to the hotel near the airport and use the rest of the day to relax, eat, and prepare for the Amazon retreat.

Day 14 | Monday, May 3 – Enter the Amazon and Ceremony 1

Travel by jeep to Honoria, continue by boat along the Pachitea River, and walk the final section to Santuario Huishtin. Settle into the retreat, follow the preparation diet, and join the first evening Ayahuasca ceremony.

Day 15 | Tuesday, May 4 – Rest and nature

A quiet day without ceremony. Rest, walk in the surrounding nature, observe the local wildlife, eat according to the retreat diet, and allow the first ceremony to settle.

Day 16 | Wednesday, May 5 – Ceremony 2

Continue the retreat rhythm with breakfast, lunch, rest, and personal preparation. The second Ayahuasca ceremony takes place in the evening.

Day 17 | Thursday, May 6 – Second rest day

Another day without ceremony. Sleep, journal, spend time in nature, speak with the group when useful, and give your body and mind time to integrate.

Day 18 | Friday, May 7 – Ceremony 3

The final ceremony day at the retreat. Follow the preparation schedule during the day and join the third planned Ayahuasca ceremony in the evening.

Day 19 | Saturday, May 8 – Return to Pucallpa

Use the morning to rest, then walk back to the river after lunch. Return by boat and jeep to Pucallpa and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 20 | Sunday, May 9 – Return to Lima

Transfer to Pucallpa airport and fly to Lima. Continue to Miraflores for one final hotel night, a shared meal, and a gentle return to city life.

Day 21 | Monday, May 10 – Departure

After breakfast, take the included transfer to Lima airport in time for your international flight home.

Where you will stay

From the city to the mountains and the jungle

Comfort changes as the landscape changes. In Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Pucallpa, you stay in selected hotels based on availability. During the trek, you sleep in mountain camps. Near the Q’eros village and in the Amazon, accommodation is more rustic and close to nature.

This is an adventure, not a luxury holiday. Cleanliness, safety, food, and basic care matter, but part of the experience is learning to live well with less.

Double occupancy is standard. Single rooms may be possible in the hotel stages for an extra cost. Ask before booking.
